We have 3 three and a half, we were not allowed a fourth full plot as our council deems it a small holding. The two established ones are a doddle and the two newer oner require a bit of work.

Personally two sites I would find a challenge.

We have plots on Hagg House and Crookes Quarry. I think with the big waiting lists the council starts to hand out plots at the turn of the year after the bills go out. I got my new one at Crookes Quarry (after 3.5 years on the waiting list) after the last tenants said they didn't want it any more. Also I think they get to end of Jan to pay the bill.

Where are you?

I've got a quarter of my new plot dug, weeded and planted up now. Amazingly hard, slow work

Still working on my old one. A bad winter, no time, crap weather, but the weeds still keep coming. Dock and dandelion I don't mind so much they're fairly easy to get out with a good fork, but the b****y grass!!!!!!! I've got couch grass and some sort of soft stuff that makes huge clumps and is a b****r to get out.

Lots of hard work gone on there Two-sheds, but doesn't it look good now? I think I recognised the old plot there too - with the beautiful fox-gloves (and wine-bottle edged path!)

Broadies looking good too.
