  • What to fill spaces with??

Having harvested my shallots and the onions won't be far behind, what do the experts suggest planting in the vacant space please? I don't really want to do lettuce or radish as I can't get to the lotty to water every day. Will potatoes be any good at this late stage? Or just green manure and leave it till spring now? Thanks for all advice!

How about some winter brassicas to be ready in spring.

Lettuce doesn't need watering every day. Mine gets done the same as the rest of my veg: once a week if they're lucky
