Hi, just wanted to check, I have some timber that has been painted on one side, would i be able to use this safely for raised beds if i kept the painted side on the outside?????

I've used old painted wood in the past,I guess as long as it's not paint with lead in it ,should be no problem

Allotmenteers have been recycling for years and years, and I don't think much harm has come to any of us from using painted wood. As long as it's not in direct contact with your plants it shouldn't do any harm at all.
