| Well can you believe it? I've just weedkiller-ed loads of this plant on my allotment only to find its edible. I have no idea where it came from - it wasn't there last year I'm wondering if its used as a green manure as a neighbour said he might put some on my plot but I've not seen him since. If you have a pink flowered weed that looks like a stinging netttle with small leaves check its not this first: Lamium purpureum - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

| One of our lotties was full of it until a couple of weeks ago. I didn't know you could eat it either!
