  • Plot 34b progress update after 18 weeks

    Hi all
I thought you might like to see where my plot was up to. I'm really thrilled with how it looks now, but boy has it been hard work! As a 45 year old single mum of two boys who also works full-time Im quite unusual on my established site, but everyone has been really kind and helpful once they realised I wasn't just someone who had watched 'Allotment Challenge' and was going to disappear.

What the plot looks like this week. Everything apart from the shed has been upcycled or made by me, the paint was bought through BOGOF offers and the woodchip was from a local tree surgeon.

What a transformation Janice! If that was me I'd be having open days just so folk could see how great it looks now.

          Well done.

Fantastic job Janice, I would be well chuffed if my plot looked like that.

Absolutely fantastic Janice, what a transformation, a credit to your hard work and resourcefulness.

I like how you have painted your raised beds. How did you make these along with your covers over your veg in them? I am a newbie myself so would love to do something similar.

Goodness me this wins for the prettiest plot I've ever seen. What a delight - I'd never want to leave Love, love, love the bunting. I must get some now I've seen it in action.
