Default pH testing

pH testing
Found this on the BBC Gardening pages.
The pH of a soil refers to its acidity or alkalinity and is a vital factor in plant growth. It is easy to measure and is usually listed numerically on a scale of one to 14. Acid soils have a pH of below seven, neutral is pH7 and alkaline is above seven.

I should take several reading and average them out as these meter are not super accurate , I know I've got one !

If your feeling really flush, you could take some soil samples and send it of for an analysis - depend if your a true Yorkshireman on not
