Default LINSEED the growing of
I have sown a patch of Linseed on one of my plots 10 yards by 10 yards for a bit of green manure/cover and i am wondering has any body had any experience in growing Linseed the plan is when it comes into flower i will strim it of and put it on compost heap any got any ideas all welcome jacob

Never tried a green manure. I though you were supposed to dig the lot in?

You are but that is normaly a winter crop IE winter tares ,rye ,vetches also itialian ryegrass ,and clovers but as my mentor Ebernezer Scrooge says such extravagancei perchased 3 tiny packets of linseed from Holland &barretts for the princley sum £2.90 sumthing and used them i had checked the fertility first before buying the last 2 packets any way it grew and away we go hopefully i am just looking for information if posible

Farmers round here grow it Jacob. It flowers a really pretty blue in July.
