  • just got offered a plot

eeee how exciting, just got offered a plot in aberdeen (only 3 month wait), been down to look at it, its good size open space so not much shaded area, half is grassy half is a few weeds, wee bit of rubbish to clear then start planning how to lay it out. got some rose, raspberry and blackberry bushes in it. excited doesnt even cover it lol will be on here looking for advice soon enough

Well done, Adam! Now I'm sure that you know by now that we are all a nosy lot, so if you can take photos, we'd love to see them.

Also, can you stick your approx location in your profile? Helps peeps to know roughly where you are when they are giving advice.

Congratulations Adam - another member of the new allotmenteers! Planning is part of the fun closely followed by (at least in my case) confusion, apprehension, back ache, wet feet and a dwindling bank account as far too many things need planting 'right now'.
p.s ask away as someone always knows!

Ha! I know that now, Skeggi, but by the time that Adam has pitched in with his fifteenth thread in a couple of months time I will have forgotten and no one else will know unless they've been here first - so to save us all asking it would be better in his profile! Or in his user name, like AberdeenPlotter, or you!
