Default i've applied :)

have been thinking whether i should get one or whether i shouldn't, but looking at the problems a lot of people have had, i thought blow it, i'll apply

and apparently, the council are creating a new 100 plot allotment, .... but they want 100 people NOW lol ........ just my luck if no one applies and they decide not to go ahead with it

just got to wait now till it's ready

Maybe you could post where the plots are going to be and where to apply for one- you never know someone new on the Vine might just be wanting one in your area!

Good luck!

I'm in a similar position to Lynda. My neighbour and I have taken over half a plot between us on a site that used to be allotments, but has been re-opened after about 4 years. The problem could be that if less than 5 people have allotments there, the site will be closed again and no doubt sold to developers who've been after it for years! So, if there's anyone reading this from Stafford, there's loads of good fertile soil going to waste on the Exeter Street site.
