| Hello all, As an older gardener am not sure what a thread isbut someone may enlighten me. I am trying to find a supplier of a tennis ball shaped thingy which you can insert canes into to ma ke a temporary frame for fleece etc. Anyone out there who has found these balls. Beginning to think I dreamt them!!!! Regards HOT UNDER THE COLLAR |

| You're thinking of build-a-ball HUtC. Plenty of people use them, but like Capsid said, there are cheaper alternatives. I seem to recall a reader of GYO saying they use those swimming pool float tube thingys cut into smaller pieces.

| A chap on our site has let me borrow some to see what they are like no idea where to get them tho. You can use tennis balls or like the other threads have said the ones for ball pools are cheaper. |

| I have used Build-a-balls for a few years, they do last but are not cheap. Got mine from the organic Gardening Catalogue..... The Organic Gardening Catalogue
