  • To dig in or not

I now have my horse muck ( masive pile )

so the question is do i spread it over the soil that i have just winter dug and leave it on the top serfice till spring when i dig it in then.

Or do i dig it straight into the ground tomorrow?

I would spread it (not too thinly) and leave the worms and the weather to incorporate most of it into the soil over the winter. Then next spring you should get away with just a quick forking over.

sounds good , what about liming the soil? i read that you have to wait two weeks after putting the horse muck down ,

But how long once it has been limed can i plant?
