    Default Cheap fence ideas?

Does anyone have any ideas for cheap, or even free fencing? It only needs to be about a metre high, more of a boundary markation, and to keep a dog out! The area it needs to cover is a standard lotty, about 250sqm

The missus suggested cutting old windbreaks in half lengthways so they double in length, and attaching them to posts. I have also thought about stripping the wood from a few pallets and attaching them to posts.

Any ideas would be gratefully received, the less complicated the better (took me 8hrs to assembe an IKEA computer desk once)

my lovely hubbie came home from work with a load of 'disposable' pallets bit smaller than normal ones and not as deep (if thats the right description)... anyways knocked some posts in at the length of the pallets hammered the pallets onto posts painted it green and it looks brill & hides all the crap my lottie neighbour dumps at the end of her plot

    Default Cheap Fencing

Hello. Have you tried AVS Fencing Supplies? They have good quality fencing and at the moment have a clearance sale on a few garden fence items. Including a fencelock system that makes putting up panels easier. Have a look at them here: Garden Fencing

Grab a small set of steps and some secateurs. Go and 'prune' all your local Willows. Bung 'em in the ground and water them. When they grow too high, just bend them over and weave them. You may need some other stakes in there too, but you could gather those whilst the Willow is getting established.

I was going to say willows - or string some wire between posts and plant horrid horrid ivy up it - it seems to grow everywhere and you can cut it like a hedge once it's established - you can just drag bits of that from anywhere it's established and bung it in too.
