I'm planning freezing mine, I'm sure I read to blanche it first but I'm too lazy for that so I'll shred it, bung it into a freezer bag and cross my fingers

If I have the time I make batches of bubble & squeak patties and they freeze really well, and you can cook them from frozen

Depends on the variety whether you can do that - some will stand and wait till needed, but a lot of them split open and start to rot.Comment
