Default advice on composting and weeds

Hello y'all

Was wondering if anyone could advice me about composting weeds?

I'm keen to make use of anything that will make good compost but dont want to end up making more of a problem for myself!

In my lottie I have dock, nettles, dandylions plus a huge pick and mix that i dont recognise. Can they be composted or is better to deal with them in a different way?

Thankyou!
LL

You could put any weeds you think might seed or root into a strong plastic bag with a bit of water (I use a plastic dustbin) and wait until they have rotted down before adding to your compost. I wouldn't add any diseased material though.

Thanks Muckdiva,
I'll give it a go. Think I've heard of that before, is the liquid any good as plant feed?
