YYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY
I got one, well a half one actually but size isn't imporant - oh no it isn't

It wasn't badlottieman that I saw, he was clearly cowering in the cupboard. It was veryyounglookingnicelottielady - she said 'shall we go over there now and pick one' *see Piskie faint and then curse cos she didn't have wellies nor not no camera

Off we toddle to pick half-lottie and I took a few minutes to soak up and then point to 'that one please' and there is a donkey next to my half-lottie and I hadn't noticed and ooooooh ooooh
*see Piskie doing a kermit dance

Did I tell you how pleased I was...

Well done Piskie and enjoy every minute of it.You could'nt have got it at a better time, right at the start of the year.
By the way, hope the donkey is well hemmed in or you will be building a wall to protect your crops

Is this the site?

benson - Google Maps

I know there is a garden centre just off the A4074 so the above map might be pointing at that. I might pop my head in next time I cycle past!
Oh congratulations by the way

Congrats Piskie, take it gently and post lots of piccies for us to enjoy your progress. If you want to feed carrots to the donkey, remember to either leave them whole or cut them in lengths rather than rings to avoid a choking hazard. Apples should be fed in wedges or again whole for the same reason. Never, ever, feed cut grass to horses or donkeys folks.

She means it Piskie! Got some California Wonder peppers from Haze that I'd lusted after. They came this morning.

Great News, jealous as hell! I think someone has to die for me to get an allotment!

Flummery, you want to give me some names and I'll arrange a 'job' on them?
