My overwintered garlic gets rust virtually every year. I ignore it, and harvest the garlic bulbs when ready, then dry them, string them, and use all the way through until they start sprouting mid-spring. Then plant some more in a different location in October.... and then those get rust in the spring, I ignore it, and harvest the garlic bulbs when ready, etc. |
