You have to cover your crops over to keep the pigeons and other little beauties off. Canes stuck in with nets draped over will do the job. Put something on the tips of the canes to stop you poking your eye out on them when you bend over the bed. I use pipe lagging cut into bits (49p a metre from B&Q) Works a treat.
