Default cheery welcome

Thanks Alice, for the welcome and response.

This is only our second year growing veg & fruit, so still learning heaps from friends & rellies.
So far this year, we are growing toms, basil, lettuce, broad beans, french beans, sprongions, sweetcorn, carrots, beetroot, shallots, strawbs, land cress, a pepper (sadly not peppadew yet...but I live in hope!), peas, celery, calabrese, of...and the gooseberries, apples, currants, plums & one solitary pear has set (fingers crossed during 'June drop'!). We have also planted some experimental spuds in rolled-down compost bags, so we will see...

Really, any and all advice is appreciated, as we have come to love it - very therapeutic and I am a veggie anyway, so am in my 7th heaven! I am also a great preserver, so last year's pickled beetroot went well...if a little too quickly!

Thanks again for the mail and here's hoping someone might have a lonely peppadew seed out there with my name on it...!

Cheerio,
Reb
