Thanks lucy, although did hear on the radio today that we may have a frost here in Preston tonight. Brought inside the greenhouse the caulis and cabbage (in pots) that I put outside last night, and nipped to the lottie enroute home and put a covering over my new neighbours seedling onions and herbs just in case she didnt visit on her way home.
After the one, single, bad frost we had in november which killed off my christmas tatties am now well aware that to take cover in case of frost is the best policy! DDL
