Powder coating works by passing an + electrical currrent through the metal then spraying a -charged powder over it. this causes it t stick then you bake it.

You then get a very smooth shiny water proof coating hard in lots of colours. Its like chrome.ing.

Because it is so smooth you can just spray it clean.
