Apart from the aesthetic appeal of a colour, it will add some protection from the elements and make it easier to keep clean. If you think that's worth three hundred squid, go for it. Me, so long as it's functional I'm happy. My garden greenhouse is alongside a fence, has hardboard sides on that side of the greenhouse as that side gets no sun until evening when the sun hits the roof, two small triangular panes also now hardboard, and a cracked door pane held together with silver duct tape. But it works and works well !
