The Searcher mag is still printed monthly along with another called Treasure Hunter. Have to agree, it's a great hobby although search sites are difficult to get so I stick to beaches when we are on hols. It's amazing how much money and jewellery people lose on the beaches these days When I progress from the waiting list and actually get a lottie, I'll give it a quick search before digging (just to see what I turn up ) My dad dug up a small bronze cup thing on his lottie that looks like it's been turned on a lathe but has engravings all around it.
