Sorry Leona couldn't resist.

If you look in all the Books they will always tell you in full sun with the ridge running East/West that way you get maximun sunlight on the long side, this is OK on winter if you want to grow stuff in there but if it's empty It doesn't matter that much.

Because of the size of my garden (it's only 13ft wide but 200ft long!!)I don't have a choice but to have the big greenhouse running North/South but it still gets to over 100F in there without any bother in the winter. I wouldn't get too hung up on it really but best to avoid deep shade if possible but what i's do in your case is site the potting bench in th eshady corner & let the plants have the rest
