picked up debris left over from frantic weeding session on weds, when it was spring here. contemplated cutting lower branches off a v. overgrown bay, but decided against it as arctic winds were not nice. other half built the kids their trampoline (joint birthday pressie) and they spent most of the day jumping up and down madly in the freezing cold. unfortunately it was too windy to put up the safety cage, so I spent most of the day banging on the window to tell them to take care. looked at my lettuces, which appear to have germinated - mad fools, they'll regret it.
