Last year being my first, I planted my seeds and germinated them in just my little four shelf greenhouse - I didn't even have a cold frame - just put the trays outside when the weather was good and then back inside the little plastic greenhouse at night. Everything worked a treat!

I've now got my proper greenhouse and OH has rigged up one of the plastic covers as shelter for a few things growing in there at the mo - it can't do any harm and I couldnt get enough of the large bubble wrap as insulation.

Worth a try methinks. DDL
