If you have lots of cookery books and find yourself searching through them for a recipe you know is in there - somewhere!
Buy an ABC type address book and write the name of the recipe under the appropriate letter , with the name of the book and page number.

If you keep a folder of your own for cut out recipes - just enter Folder after the description.

There you are. Now you know where all your recipes are.
