Ally do you mean blackberry or blackcurrant?

With the Autumn Bliss I would dig them up in November, replant them and then cut the stems down to about 6 inches long. You never get much fruit the first year after transplanting but Autumn Bliss is a good cropper and the canes will send out runners so your raspberry canes will multiply.
