I bought some ginger from B&Q last year, but it rotted horribly in the pot when I planted it out. I might have planted it too deep, but it didn't have any shoots on it at all so I was a bit suspicious ...

I have a bit now which I got from sainsburys which has just developed a small green shoot. I will be potting it up and keeping it indoors to see what happens.
