Another problem with the vine/pea veavil, after noticing some of my Mizuno was droopy I pulled it up and inside the root was a little white pest/grub. I had a look around and found 5 very small grubs, I pulled the next plant up but there was no sign of anything.
At the moment in the patch I have lettuce growing, beetroot, radish, sweetcorn and some onions, all these seem to be fine, a question I would like answered is what sould I do regarding treatment?.
My plan was in a month or so to get some more organic manure and dig this in. Should I put a treatment in for the vineweavil? and if I do use a chemical how long should I leave the veg patch before commencing planting?.

Any advice for preparing the plot for the forthcoming year would be greatly accepted, as next year will be my first full year growing our own.
