Have a go at some plum brandy to wash it all down with lol
1lb plums
12oz sugar
1 bottle of gin( dont ask me why gin makes brandy ...got no idea, but its a well tested recipy in this house lol)
Prick plums, add to gin and sugar, shake every day for first month, then once a week for next 2 months, remove plums and bottle up, you should get 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 bottles in return, and all just in time for xmas.

P.s you can add xmas spices to make it a spiced brandy if you wish, they are both equally drinkable. |
