mine got some long rooty things, on it a couple of years ago, so i cut the branches off and planted and they grew, i also tried just cutting of the branches right next to the stem, and a couple of them took, though didn't do as well as the already rooted ones, I think they got roots cos the pot was too small).

i now have 2 in my garden, where they seem to be doing ok, as long as they get covered over when its frosty or theres snow.
