I was talking to my children today about the current "Credit Crunch" and tanker drivers strike ect.
So I went into Old Man mode you know "When I was your age" and tried to tell them about the mid 70's and the three day week,petrol rationing[anyone remember] bread and sugar shortage ect.
Then I told them that when I first started work I earned £15.00 per week with which they replied"You must be joking we get that in pocket money every week".Cor how times change.
