our tesco 1 mile from me built on the land of my the house i grew up in as a child are selling strawberries grown in a village 7 miles up the road right near where i used to go strawberry picking before growing my own. big labels on the packets nottinghamshire strawberries and we now have local milk. ( which i can by cheaper from a nearby farm and mr farmer gets all the money.) our tescos is really bad though for choice and no meat is local, i prefer morrisons for choice but have to travel 12 miles instead of 1 so use tesco mostly due to fuel costs and trying to do my bit for enviroment, only go to morrisons every 6 weeks. sainsbury round here not bad too.
