This is a much cheaper way of seeing whether dehydration machines will get the use in your household and if successful you perhaps could go on to one of the snazzier ones later? Better to have something under £30 lying unused in the cupboard than one of the more expensive models! Especially if you only intend to dry your own produce when gluts occur.

Well that's my plan anyway!
