he he! I have actually tasted a mange tout pod and also a lettuce leaf, even though it was just a baby and not ready yet.

It is a brilliant feeling, especially as this is my first year and I have been convinced numerous times that nothing will mature. This forum has been great for posting my worries and reading everyone else's stories.
