It may be a slow worm or a grass snake, I didn't hang around long enough to find out, even the pictures in the wildlife guide book were freaking me out.

I now lob the veg peelings in from a distance and I think my husband will have to dig the compost out from the bottom!

What with that, the fox cubs under the shed and the odd frog hopping around I am thinking of opening the garden as a wildlife park!
