how long before you want fruit and do you want it in a pot or in the ground. many mail order supply maiden (1 year) trees or 2 year at most. i got my fruit trees grown on a bush root stock which is next size up from patio, from a local garden centre rag taylors in southwell nottinghamshire their trees are 4 to 5 years old and cost between £17 and £19 for them each and all are doing well and fruiting as they debloomed the the previous years. i advise to shop around i did as my little one didnt want to wait 3-5 years for her fruit to grow!
