My parents got ones like that from J Parkers (
J Parker Dutch Bulbs) but haven't had any fruit yet. It depends on how big your small garden is. We have 3 dwarf apple trees in our front garden, also from J Parkers. In their first year, we had 80 small apples of Laxton Superb, 10 apples of James Grieves and no Bramleys. I can't believe they didn't get pinched by the multitude of children around here!
The dwarf apple trees are about a metre high and probably won't get much taller and their branch range has a diameter of about 1 metre too. They need to be steaked though as dwarf roots aren't that deep apparantly.
