I found a man's gold ring last week while digging. yesterday I found a skull (bird or rat, not sure) and today I found a gun (metal, we think it was a toy, but aren't toy guns usually plastic?)
Oh, and joy - my neighbour Carol found the camera battery that I lost on Tuesday (It slipped out of my hands into grass - I spent 2 hrs searching, inc.pulling out and digging out all the grass. OH had a good look too) I just mentioned it to Carol, who said "what's it look like?" I said yay big and white, how could you miss it in green grass ... and she said "what like that?" and picked it up, two foot away from where I dropped it.
I think the fairies moved it for a laugh.
