OK so during that Parker bulb giveaway I decided to buy some cannas. I put them in pots to get them started in a nice warm spot in the greenhouse slightly damp compost....no show. Must be six weeks at least, I tipped one out today to check progress...none at all, doesn't seem rotten....looks like the day I planted it....must admit I wasn't quite sure about which way up they should be
Am I doing something wrong? shouldn't there be a glimmer of a shoot or root by now? patience not my strong suit!!!
