I struggled to start the one I borrowed too (in fact I had to get my lottie neighbour to be all manly and do it for me
). The issue in my case was that one of the switches that was supposed to 'stick' wasn't, so it really needed either three arms or a very quick reflex! Don't know if that's any help really
