I was inside the greenhouse last summer when a squirrel came hurtling in. It was being chased at top speed by another squirrel.

It was absolutely bonkers, as you can imagine - throwing itself around against the glass. I managed to get out and stepped away, leaving it to figure out what to do. It took about 15 minutes to find its way out of the roof vent.

By some miracle the cucumbers and tomatoes remained intact.

It sounds lucky that the hawk managed to get out unhurt - they get really stressed in a closed environment.
