I grew it 4 years ago and last year too. Last summer was terrible, the young flower buds were killed by frost (they were grown outside).
Mapcr77 are you growing it for the sponge or as veggie ? for veggie, grow the ridge one...yummy! For the sponge, grow the non ridge one. They will need sunny and warm location and grow better in a green house.
