A lot of the products in Lidl come from Germany which is a lot closer than most cheap goods you see which have generally come all the way from China, so I justify it as the lesser of two evils!
I may be tempted to get a plum tree although I have absolutely nowhere to put one - but that's never stopped me before. Lidl also have lots of garden tools on offer from 3rd March so I might just make a couple of visits!
