Quarantquatre This is an excellent home made liqure recipe that my mum got in France years ago. You puncture an orange 44 times, put it in a large bottle/jar, add 44 coffee
beans and 44 french sized sugar lumps (which i think are slighlty bigger than ours. Then you pour over one litre of Eau de Vie (cheap French brandy) and leave for 44 days. Ends up like cointreau!!! |
