Sorry, I'm not on a waiting list, (or in Boston) but if our local lotties are anything to go by then, even if your list is a long one, I wouldn't give up hope. Here people are putting their names down for several different sites and by the time they reach the top of the list for ours we find that they've already accepted one elsewhere, or had put their name down on a whim and don't really want one, so people move up the list far faster than they expected.
