we were lucky as kids in that Pa was a first rate allotmenteer and we both have him to thank for giving us the passion we have for all things growing.
He decided to shuffle off in 2000, selfish blighter, and I often find myself asking him questions on what to do when etc - he usually answers when he's put his pint down - yep guys, they even have it 'up there'
