Hi,

Now have moving date, mid august and new house to move too. Lovely new garden which is very much lawn with small trees and flower beds round outside. As leaving my beloved herbs here, I want to plant a new one there. Noticed a sunny corner on my new-house-schedule. There's a possibly 5 foot tall thin type fur tree. So am assuming rather acidic soil. With lots of new compost on top, not disturbing deeper roots, do you think it possible to grow herbs around it's base. Sunny corner but pretty sheltered too. (Impossible to say for sure withot being there I suppose) but am dreaming of new planting schemes to add to what's already there.
