I like my old walking boots best, but doing up the laces is a faff, its easier to slip on a pair of wellies. I won't pay much... my Dunlops were 50p at a carboot, almost new.
My OH is of the persuasion that he doesn't care how things look, its how expensive they are that counts (how we ended up together I don't know).Please don't tell him about £125 wellies, because he'll go buy some.
He's just bought some garden centre wellies for a tenner. He doesn't wear wellies, he doesn't garden, he doesn't walk anywhere except to the car, and worst of all we have nowhere to store them...they are sat on the stairs, tripping everyone up.
