Well, I've got the allotment, and now I have the seed catalogue from our local association. Never having done any veg growing before, how many onions/how long a row of onions am I likely to get from 2.5kg of onion sets? I'm considering 2.5kg each of Red Baron, Sturon, and Golden Gourmet Shallots. Will this give me a reasonable amount, or will I only end up with 20 or so of each?

Sorry if this is a ridiculous question, but beginning to feel a bit lost with it all.
